Ooooh so fun, but oooooh so tired

Grawa and Papa really wore this little guy out this weekend, but we brought him out anyway. On Sunday night, Gena and her boys and the Pracheil camp joined Caelan for some good food and good fun at the Pizza Machine. He lasted for about an hour and a half. Look at his tired, tired eyes.

Pre-Bedtime Fun

Caelan's prince dot is from rough-housing with Daddy. While Daddy is fixing even more car brakes in the garage, we were having a good time while watching Blues Clues. Even though Mommy's face is "larger than life" it was still a really cute one of him. Look at how he has perfected "cheeeeeeeese". I'm so proud.

GI Joe

We love our GI Joes. Thanks to Tyler, Caelan is set up pretty well with these tanks and missles. He better get it out of his system now because this is the closest he'll ever get to guns or the armed forces. ;-)

The Many Faces of Caelan

Monday morning Mama and Caelan took off for playland in Burger King. We are NOT fast food fans, so this was our first time. It was also a desperate attempt to get some energy out and let the neighborhood sleep as we were the only ones up at 6:30am!

Because it was so early, we had the whole playland to ourselves. Caelan was not shy about striking a pose. Here you can see him make the cheese face, the fish face and some others all while playing. He's a very talented model.

Training

Nana and Papa played with Caelan with the big blue ball. He tackles it like a football player and perfects his agility skills.

Chugga chugga chugga

Choo Choooooo! Caelan had a blast on the train at the zoo. He finally got to ride it after a week straight of talking about it. He looks a little scared, that's because the fun has overwhelmed him. He loved it!

We're on a date. Nana and Papa played with Caelan to give Mama and Daddy a night out at the Old Market.

Working on Khaki's Brakes

Here they are working hard on Khaki's brakes on Thursday. Daddy's fixing the car, and Caelan is working on the tire.

Paci-less for One Night!

At least someone is using the work out ball! Caelan had a blast on this thing. He would sing "Row Row Row Your Boat" and then Daddy would bounce him. Big day for him: He sang 3 songs to us (The one above, Ring Around the Rosie, and Rock-a-bye Baby) and he ALSO slept the whole night without his pacifier. We've been using it only for sleeping purposes and are MORE than ready to toss it!

It's never too warm for flame boots

He insisted. We gave in. He's got a whole Little Mr. Sunshine thing going on with these boots. I think it works for him. :-)

Zoo Trip

These pictures are in reverse order of our trip to the zoo. We met up with Jamie and Russ. Caelan was obsessed with the monkeys. Also, the choo choo was a big hit. Next time, we are definitely going to have to take it around the zoo. His love of trains has been awakened.

The first two pictures are of what happened seconds after leaving the parking lot. We live 15 minutes from the zoo, and he was passed out before we hit the main road home.
