Random

We've had a pretty busy fall. It started with Aunt Amanda's wedding to Uncle Craig. That was so much fun, but due to washing my camera, our shots are limited to what Amanda sent me. :-) Also, Lew has finished his basement/bar. Here the boys are having afternoon snacks with their daddy at the bar. They love eating and having their milk while watching football.

Halloween 2010

We have a fierce Ninja Turtle and an adorable snuggly crocodile. Fun was had by all. We started early and were inside before the rain. They were very happy and Caelan told everyone to have a Happy Halloween after he got their candy.

My Babies!

I stole this from the photographer's blog. They were great photographers, but I couldn't help grabbing this!

A Christmas Story

Many times in my life with these boys has seemed a little like A Christmas Story. However, here is a prime example of this. Here is how we get Camden to eat a little more of the good stuff on his plate. He acts like a dinosaur...and then provides a dino-burp at the end. It's pretty classy, and it is something we will need to stop by next week when he is back in daycare. :-)

Five Year Old Cake

Caelan's cake demands have changed from a green cat cake to a pirate fighting a dragon. Here his Aunt Kally did an excellent job with frosting and sprinkles for Caelan.

Summer Update

We have had, hands down, the best summer so far! Due to the excellent day time weather, the boys and I have been swimming every single day, and that is no exaggeration. It's pretty fun to have a little blow up pool at our house and a 3 ft pool with super cool neighbors next door. That always helps. Besides the water, we've been enjoying company with friends, the Lincoln Children's Museum, the movies, baseball games, the zoo a few times, and some neighborhood get-togethers. It's an understatement when I say I don't want to go back, but all good things end and we'll be ready to make new memories with Caelan starting Kindergarten.

Caelan is Five!

But he is 30 in his mind. This kid is hilarious. He has many responsibilities now that he is this age. He will go to Kindergarten this year. He has to help mom with chores and cooking and most importantly, his biggest responsibility is being an amazing big brother. I can't believe this little guy is 5. He's truly one of the two best things in this world!! We love you, Caelan!

Ps. Here he is posing with his super awesome birthday card that pulls out like a guitar and plays rock music. He is also standing by his brand new bike! Our goal is to get him without training wheels asap!

Too Many Pop Songs

Caelan must have heard a pop song discussing the breakage of hearts. He used to sing it ballad-style, and now he has progressed or regressed (however one views the situation) to a scream-o style pop song. Brother, as usual, is the back-up singer.

4th with Family

The boys were able to watch and shoot off fireworks with my cousin's kiddo, Caden. All of my grandma's great grandchildren's names start with "C". They had a good time.
