Memorial Day Weekend

We had a blast this weekend. There were four BBQ's to attend. The finale was a grill out at TJ and Sarah's. As you can see, Ellie and Caelan really enjoyed each other's company. They went swimming, they ran, they played, and they worked on their blue gatorade mustaches. Brynn and Mommy's friend Katie McGinness made their debuts on the blog.

Families Minus Jamie, Russ, Brenda and Camden

Here are some random shots of the BBQ. Simon and Caelan were hilarious. They were both napless, but having a good time on the swings and finding bad guys. The picture with the hats is how I found them while hunting bad guys upstairs. Mason was trying out the stairs in the house since he has recently started walking. Kally had Camden asleep after this picture. The gorgeous picture of Norah is when she is in full swing. Daddy assumed the grilling position. Dan and Caelan were having clapping contests and there is another shot of Caelan and Russ watching and discussing the storm. I think that's all of them. It was tons of fun.

Happy Cookies

We had a lot to celebrate on Sunday Night. Mason was turning one, Jamie's birthday was May 10th, Kally graduated from photography school and Camden needed an official welcome. Also, Simon, Norah and Caelan are just really cool.
Here they are all enjoying happy cookies as Caelan calls them. For something to be considered "happy," it has to have a lot of frosting on it.

Caelan Attacking Papa

Kally Graduated

Grawa and Papa had a graduation bbq for Kally because she graduated from photography school. It was a good time. Camden was partied out and Caelan had a blast! One of the pictures is of Aunt Peggy, Uncle Dennis and cousins Austin and Brandon. Dani and Tyler helped Caelan get ready for his first tee-ball game by letting him practice with their tee. Is that how you spell Tee?

The Constant Gardener

This weekend was so nice that we finally got to plant flowers in our entry way. Caelan helped dig holes with mommy, he helped daddy trim trees/flowers/etc, and then he took his fliers (pliers) and pulled things off trees. It was a good weekend.

So Many Smiles

When Camden isn't smiling, he's resting for his next big smile-fest. This kid is incredibly happy. It's hard to get a picture of the big smiles because when he sees the camera he studies it, but here are the ones I could capture.
By the way, as of today, he has slept two nights in a row. Although we haven't slept as much due to constantly checking for breathing. You'd think we'd get less worried with the second kid, but not so much.

New Addition...No, It's not a Mini Van

It's a cross-over, for those of us who aren't ready to breakdown and buy the mini van. We gladly traded in our gas-guzzling jeep for a Ford Freestyle. All six of us will be very comfortable for our Colorado trips. The first one is the car and the second one is Caelan fishing in front of the car.

Mac Attack

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Courtney, Mommy's best friend from high school, and her parents, Ron and Mary Macomber. Courtney lives in L.A. and was home for Mary's birthday today. They brought Caelan a big brother and little brother monkey, as well as a book. They brought Camden an adorable outfit. We had a great time catching up. Mommy really misses the Macombers! We joke that Courtney is Caelan's "energy equal" as he was tired way before she was.

Intensely Cute

Aunt Khaki Helped Mommy

Khaki spent the night on Saturday, so that we could all take Grawa out for Mother's Day. She held Camden while Daddy and Caelan were at the store so mom could clean a little.. They look pretty snuggly.

Mother's Day Fun

Pictures of every one of my guys. :-)
The two dogs were glad to have the rain over. Caelan and Daddy are back mowing the yard again. The last picture is in the morning. All three are very sleepy.
