Zoo Trip
On Saturday after Caelan's soccer game, we decided to visit the zoo. We went to exhibits we usually skip. All of the boys dragged me into the gross butterfly house. The definitely like the bugs the best and they like making me look at the bugs even more. We have some pictures there. Caelan and the grizzly had some words in one picture. Also, the guys posed with me in front of the waterfall.
Mom Bragging....Brace Yourselves
Well, we showed up for Caelan's game and we were one of four kids. When the one kid that never ends up playing finally talked his dad into leaving, we were one of three to play. We were nervous about how we would have to comfort Caelan after this loss, due to the other coach insisting his team practice for 1/2 an hour before the "game". Once they got on the field, Caelan and Charlie took over. (The other kid of three just runs in circles and smiles.) They literally only had two kids taking the ball from the entire other team...with substitutes.Caelan made about four legit goals. Some he took all the way to the other end of the field. It was so much fun! His soccer evolution has taken him from singing and dancing in the middle of the field, to picking up the ball with his hands and THEN kicking it in, to finally kicking it in with no hands. The shots of Camden were exactly five minutes before a 30 minute public meltdown. He's working through some problems with authority.

Many Random Pictures
Here are some pictures from the last two weekends. We've been busy and we've had fun. We went downtown with the boys one chilly day, played in the back yard, etc. Sunday, we got together for a BBQ with the kids and those that didn't have previous engagements. The boys and Norah stayed up until 10:00 as you can see in the "night fight" scene with the sticks. The babies also hung in there pretty late. The picture with them men and children looking at rocks was during an insect study. Both sets were equally as entertained by this. It was a nice time.

Animal Sounds
He knows many animal sounds. Here he is trying them out. By the way, the bunny sniffs and so does the ladybug, so that's what he's doing...sniffing.
