He was getting mommy out of a bind before her 10 year reunion. We're waiting until he's two for his next pictures, so I needed to snap a shot before heading off to the party. He did a great job with little notice.

Caelan had a good time with Great Grandma Malcom (G.Grndma Welcome to him). As does everyone, he LOVED seeing her. He saw the pictures at home and said "gate gamma welcome....nice...kiss...). So, she made a big impression on the little guy. Here he is showing off his bubble blowing skills.

Jamie was sweet and she got me a birthday cake. Jamie was mean when she decided to put on all 28 candles AND light them. I think Simon referred to it as a "raging fire." He also said things like, "Why is it taking so long, Jamie?" Nice. No, but seriously it was a very fun time and a very nice surprise.

Ellie and Caelan

Ellie and Caelan couldn't swim on Wednesday due to the weather. Soooo, Sarah came up with a brilliant plan to take the kids to McDonald's playland. It...was....AWESOME!!!

Ellie was a wonderful tour guide through the tunnels. She watched out for Caelan when the big kids came along. Both mommies got to sit, relax and talk while the kiddos ran and ran and ran. It was a great alternative to the pool. Look how cute the buddies are!!

Ooooh so fun, but oooooh so tired

Grawa and Papa really wore this little guy out this weekend, but we brought him out anyway. On Sunday night, Gena and her boys and the Pracheil camp joined Caelan for some good food and good fun at the Pizza Machine. He lasted for about an hour and a half. Look at his tired, tired eyes.

Pre-Bedtime Fun

Caelan's prince dot is from rough-housing with Daddy. While Daddy is fixing even more car brakes in the garage, we were having a good time while watching Blues Clues. Even though Mommy's face is "larger than life" it was still a really cute one of him. Look at how he has perfected "cheeeeeeeese". I'm so proud.

GI Joe

We love our GI Joes. Thanks to Tyler, Caelan is set up pretty well with these tanks and missles. He better get it out of his system now because this is the closest he'll ever get to guns or the armed forces. ;-)
