The Eternal Tug

There is only one way to tug with Royal. He pulls and you never get the rope. If Caelan works on him it's perfect. One wears out the other.

Sometimes we use the drum for a Rastafari look. I wish I knew how to spell rastafari. Anyway, it's a good time.

For the first time. Yep, I'm one of those moms that will always embarrass my son. But look how cute he is.

Sicko

2nd week of school and Caelan gets a temperature. Yikes! Here he is on his second sick day. The only thing he'd eat was a waffle. He ate the whole thing and was very ornery. It was so nice to have him back! Notice the green bear. This random stuffed animal has been with Caelan the entire time for moral support. I think we got it out of a machine or something. It's funny what some value when they're sick.

Big Boy Bed

Here he is! His first night in the big boy bed! Why are all of these transitions harder for Mommy than Caelan?

Oscar Sleeps While Guarding Bone

He loves his bones so much he sleeps with them. Look how cute he is!

No Cavity Club

Caelan went to the dentist for the first time. He got an airplane, big boy toothpaste and a new toothbrush. You probably can't read his sticker, but it says that he's a proud member of the "No Cavity Club." He did such a good job in the big chair. Mommy was very proud.

Zoo

Caelan and I enjoyed our last day of summer at the zoo. Here we are on his rock outside of the giraffe exhibit. He's eating some chicken nuggets while discussing the train ride we just took. I am already missing my little guy! We had a great summer!

Literal Boy

We explained to Caelan that Saturday night we are going to sleep outside when we go camping. We turned around Friday night and found this! Next, we told him that he will be sleeping with the puppies. Again, we found he took us literally. Look at him practice for camping!

We LOVE Mr. Giggles. This thing is hilarious! He throws it down and sings and giggles. It's a good time for everyone. After careful scrutiny, Oscar decided Mr. Giggles does not pose an immediate threat, and it is suitable for us to enjoy it without the need for barking. HA!

One Man Band

We LOVE the instruments from Aunt Ellen. Here he is using the drum stick for a microphone. He was making up his own songs and also trying his version of "Blowin in the Wind".

Bob the Builder is at the Children's Museum

He LOVED the Children's Museum. There was so much to learn and do. He had a great time. The gardening was his favorite.
