He's the Wackiest

Caelan has had a fun week at daycare. Today was wacky Wednesday where the kids pick a tie and funky socks. He wore daddy's tie and mommy's crazy purple striped toe socks. Here he is showing the pez dispenser he won for being the wackiest pre-schooler today. It's an award that should surprise no one.

Sometimes

Sometimes, just so we can finis a meal, it's fun to let Camden work his own yogurt cup and spoon. Lew could barely handle watching it. I loved it! I took it away when his whole paw went in. Pretty funny stuff.

New Year's

Grawa and White Truck Papa watched the boys on New Years for us. They had a really good time. Camden loves food and Caelan loves books.

Back a few Saturdays ago, Lew took the guys to the zoo. Here is a pretty cool shot of Caelan. Also, I don't know if you can tell, but Caelan is roaring at the bird. We roar a lot.

Play Time

Daddy had class tonight, so the guys and I played pretty hard. Camden and I rolled the ball back and forth and read books, while Caelan and I played dodge ball and the Hokey Pokey. Good times. :-)

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss

Caelan had a big day at pre-school. He celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by bringing his favorite Dr. Seuss book. Caelan isn't the biggest Seuss fan (there aren't many dinosaurs or bad guys in them), so he kind of had to fake it. After the cool hat making and eating pizza for his birthday, he's learning to like him. Tomorrow it's "wear you favorite pajamas to school" day.

Camden couldn't be left out with the hat. It's his birthday week, and he's not feeling so hot. He was SUPER excited to turn around in his car seat and face the front, though. He feels just as cool as his big brother. He added car to his rapidly growing vocabulary. I can't believe how much he can say and understand, but it can't be staged! He vrooms and growls, too, which is hilarious. What a great year it's been. His picture will be on the local news station this Saturday. Caelan picked it out.

Best Valentine's Day by Far!

After celebrating Grawa's birthday today, we were in the party mood! Not only did we have a great Italian dinner, but we also had a dance party before dinner. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

The Language of Brothers

During our Valentine's dinner, Caelan and Camden started speaking to each other in roars. This went on for a lot longer than the video shows.

Blizzard!

Due to the blizzard, we had to cancel many fun plans, so an improvised plan was in order for our day off. While Camden slept, Caelan and Nicholas played and worked hard. It was a fun day in the snow.

My Sweeties

Due to conferences, relentless graduate professors, and graduation writing tests, I have completely slacked on the blog. Now that I'm back with my guys, I may just post every day this weekend. Here you can see Caelan is enjoying his Valentine's treats and Camden is enjoying his new skill of standing. He's 11 months old now and so much fun! He took awhile to crawl, but the standing is proving to be his favorite thing right now. More updates to come!

Happy Birthday, Ellie!

All four of us had a blast at Ellie's fifth birthday party. She was such a good hostess. Caelan was the oldest boy, but proved he loved to dance and play with all the ladies. Here you are witnessing birthday cake and the dance party after the present opening.

Norah's Birthday

Norah's birthday was SO MUCH FUN! It took place at an indoor child's dream. There were jumping pits and playground equipment. There were super fun kids and cake. Jamie and Camden hung out for a lot of time when he wasn't in the infant playground. Norah can be seen blowing out her candles. What a pretty birthday girl.
